About the Speakers

Adam Singer, Special Counsel, Schulte Roth & Zabel

Adam M. Singer focuses his practice on asset-backed securitizations, warehouse credit facilities and swaps and other derivative products. He has represented underwriters, issuers, lenders and borrowers across a variety of asset classes, including structured settlements, litigation advances, lottery receivables, home improvements and marine and recreational vehicles, commercial, mezzanine and multi-family loans, and various types of residential mortgage loans (including fix and flip), among others.

Adam has also represented issuers, underwriters, collateral managers and portfolio purchasers in public and private structured financings, including collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). He earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and his B.S., magna cum laude, from Southern Connecticut State University.

Drew Kelly, General Counsel, Delta Capital Partners Management

Drew Kelly is the General Counsel of Delta Capital Partners Management with primary responsibility for negotiating and structuring investment transactions, advising Delta’s leadership on corporate legal initiatives and business matters, and managing Delta’s legal affairs globally. Prior to joining Delta in 2011, Drew was an associate in the Corporate & Finance Transactions Group of K&L Gates LLP focusing particularly on formation, offering, M&A, securities and investment transactions involving hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and managed futures funds, as well as investors and advisors to such funds, and public and private companies. Drew also previously worked at the law firm Husch Blackwell LLP and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, both in Chicago.

Drew graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, with honors, and received a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Illinois Wesleyan University.

Michael Perich, Vice President & Head of Litigation Insurance, Transaction Liability, Lockton Companies

Michael Perich is head of Lockton’s Litigation Insurance business. Prior to joining Lockton earlier this year, Michael spent much of his career working at the world’s largest litigation finance company, Burford Capital, and the nation’s leading litigation finance broker, Westfleet Advisors.

During his career in the litigation finance industry, Michael helped clients monetize pending litigation. He has significant experience in understanding and mitigating the financial risks associated with complex commercial actions.
