Mr. Searfoss oversees all the treasury, accounting, and financial reporting functions for Delta. He directly supports the principals of the firm in negotiating and raising capital for new funds.
Prior to joining Delta, Mr. Searfoss was the Chief Financial Officer of Boomtown, a leading technology startup accelerator with more than 200 portfolio companies and the operator of the Comcast NBCUniversal SportsTech Accelerator. He is also an active personal investor in and advisor to numerous startup and growth-stage technology companies, including Altvia Solutions (sold to Bow River Capital and Marlin Equity Partners), a Salesforce-centric enterprise SaaS company that improves the communication and relationships between GPs, LPs, and portfolio companies in private equity and alternative asset management.
Prior to his time at Boomtown, Mr. Searfoss was the founding Chief Financial Officer, a General Partner, and member of the Investment Committee of Longford Capital, a private equity fund with more than $1.5 billion of assets under management that provides capital and other financing solutions to companies and law firms involved with or invested in complex litigation, arbitration, and transactional matters, including the risk management and monetization of intellectual property and technology. Mr. Searfoss was responsible for building the firm’s financial and accounting infrastructure and functionality, including management and oversight of third-party service providers, and helped grow a zero-asset concept into one of the world’s largest commercial litigation funds.
