Mr. Bond leads Delta’s intake, evaluation, due diligence, and monitoring efforts in connection with new Investment Opportunities and also oversees all facets of litigation and arbitration underwriting for Delta across all of its product and service offerings worldwide. Prior to joining Delta, Mr. Bond was a Partner at Kirkland Ellis LLP. Mr. Bond had a 10+ year law firm career with extensive experience in the conduct, management and planning of commercial litigation and dispute resolution. His experience encompasses a wide-range of intellectual property and complex civil litigation matters, including class action litigation, company related issues and disputes, insurance-related litigation, internet, right of publicity, privacy, tort law, trade secrets, patent litigation, trademark infringement, copyright, false advertising and contractual disputes.
Additionally, Mr. Bond successfully litigated numerous high-profile lawsuits for blue chip clients in a variety of fields, including cruise lines, social media, medical devices and implants, sporting goods, telecommunication products and services, consumer electronics, internet marketing, clothing, promotional products, and professional services. Mr. Bond also has successfully litigated numerous class actions related to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Junk Fax Prevention Act. Mr. Bond’s experience extends to all stages of litigation, from drafting complaints to receiving jury verdicts; from managing all aspects of the discovery process, to arguing motions and conducting trials in both state and federal court
Since 2015, Mr. Bond has been selected by Leading Lawyers as an Emerging Lawyer in Illinois, an honor bestowed on the top 2% of lawyers who are 40 years old or younger or practicing law 10 years or less and have proven themselves professional, ethical and experienced at an early point in their legal career. While at Kirkland & Ellis, Mr. Bond received a Pro Bono Service Award for Outstanding Service each year from 2009 to 2016.
